સન ૧૯૮૯ માં મુરબ્બી શ્રી રસિકલાલ રંગવાળા ની રાહબરી હેઠળ અમદાવાદ દિશાવળ સમાજ ની સ્થાપના કરવામાં આવી. તેઓની સાથે શ્રી પ્રવિણચંદ્ર આર. દેસાઈ, શ્રી જગદીશભાઈ એસ. શાહ, શ્રી ચીમનલાલ શાહ, શ્રી ચીનુભાઈ આર. શાહ વગેરે મુરબ્બીશ્રીઓ જોડાયા. આમ કુલ ૧૨ દિશાવાળ જ્ઞાતિઓએ સાથે મળીને શ્રી અમદાવાદ દિશાવાળ સમાજ ની સ્થાપના થઈ. અને સોં દિશાવાળ ભાઈઓ અને બહેનો એ સમાજ ના સભ્યો બની સંઘઠન માં સહકાર આપ્યો.

સન ૧૯૯૯ માં સમાજ નું કાયદેસર રજીસ્ટ્રેશન થયું.સમાજ ધ્વારા વિવિધ કાર્યક્રમોનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવે છે, જેમ લગ્ન વિષયક મેળો, નવરાત્રી મહોત્સવ, ઈનામ વિતરણ કાર્યક્રમ, મનોરંજન કાર્યક્રમ, મેડીસીન ડિસ્કાઉન્ટ. સમાજ ના આર્થિક રીતે નબળા સભ્યો માટે રાશન કીટ વિતરણ વગેરે. સમાજ ના સભ્યો આ કાર્યક્રમો માં તન, મન અને ધન થી ઉત્સાહપૂર્વક ભાગ લે છે.

સમાજ ની સ્થાપના ના ૩૦ વર્ષ બાદ, સમાજ ના સ્થાપક સભ્યો નું સ્વપ્ન સમાન સમાજ ની પોતાની ઓફીસ નું સપનું સાકર થયેલ છે. પરિમલ ગાર્ડન, અમદાવાદ નજીક પોસ વિસ્તાર માં ૫૦૦ ચોરસ ફૂટ ની આધુનિક સગવડ સાથે ઓફીસ નું નિર્માણ હાલ ના પ્રમુખ શ્રી દેવાંગભાઈ દેસાઈ ના સફળ અને કર્મઠ નેતૃત્વ માં થયેલ છે. આ ઉપરાંત સમાજ ની મહિલા પાંખ ધ્વારા મહિલા ઉત્કર્ષ ના વિવિધ કાર્યક્રમો નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવે છે.

સમાજ ધ્વારા ત્રિમાસિક સમાજ નું મુખપત્ર “દિશાવાળ સૌરભ” નું પ્રકાશન કરવામાં આવે છે, જેમાં સમાજ ની વિવિધ પ્રવૃતિઓ ની માહિતી સમાજ સુધી પહોંચાડવા નું ભગીરથ કાર્ય સમાજ ના હોદ્દેદારો ધ્વારા કરવા માં આવે છે.

In the year 1989, under the leadership of the respected Shri Rasiklal Rangwala, the Ahmedabad Dishawal Samaj was established. Along with him, senior members like Shri Pravinchandra R. Desai, Shri Jagdishbhai S. Shah, Shri Chimanlal Shah, and Shri Chinubhai R. Shah joined hands. A total of 12 Dishawal communities came together to form the Ahmedabad Dishawal Samaj. Around 100 brothers and sisters from the community became members and supported the organization.

In 1999, the Samaj was legally registered. The Samaj organizes several events like matrimonial meetups, Navratri celebrations, award ceremonies, entertainment programs, and medicine discounts. For economically weaker members, ration kits are distributed. Members participate enthusiastically with their time, effort, and contributions.

After 30 years of its establishment, the dream of the founding members for the community to have its own office has been fulfilled. Under the dynamic leadership of the current president Shri Devangbhai Desai, a modern 500 sq. ft. office has been built in a prime location near Parimal Garden, Ahmedabad.

Additionally, the women's wing of the community organizes various empowerment programs for women. The community also publishes a quarterly newsletter called “Dishawal Saurabh” which serves as a platform to share community activities and updates with members. This initiative is managed by the dedicated office bearers.
